Polysiphonia spp as epibiont of Caligus rogercresseyi (Crustacea: Copepoda) in Salmo salar farming centers

The association between Polysiphonia spp and ovigerous females of Caligus rogercresseyi is analysed. Females carrying egg sacs exhibited individuals of Polysiphonia spp externally attached to the cuticle of both dorsal cephalothorax and abdomen by a mounting disk without penetrating the tissues.
