Sumario:ABSTRACT We describe a non-invasive technique to isolate genomic DNA from connective tissue present in the antlers of deer of the genus Hippocamelus. This method is simpler and more effective than conventional more-destructive procedures which damage the collection material. This method is applicable to all cervids that annually regenerate their antlers.
