Anthropometric measurements included weight, height, triceps skinfold thickness, waist circunference and spirometry was also performed. Enzymes, nutritional and fat-soluble vitamin supplementations were recorded. There were no associations with enzymes and vitamin supplements between groups that did or did not have a nutritional deficit. Spirometry of patients without nutritional deficit, utilizing the European and American Consensus, showed that the ratio of FEV1 ≥ 80% was statistically greater than the ratio of FEV1<80% (p=0.0459 and 0.0230, respectively). The proportion of patients without nutritional deficit was statistically lower in those who use supplements compared to those who did not. than when considers both Consensus (p=0.0210 and 0.0098, respectively). CF patients with FEV1 <80% and arm circumference <5th percentile showed statistically significant. The associations between nutritional deficits and altered pattern of spirometry are common situations among CF patients.info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSociedad Chilena de Nutrición, Bromatología y ToxicologíaRevista chilena de nutrición v.40 n.2 20132013-06-01text/htmlhttp://www.scielo.cl/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0717-75182013000200003en10.4067/S0717-75182013000200003
