The pale yellow compound crystallize triclinic in the space group PI;, (No. 2); with two formula units per unit cell (a = 746.0(1) pm, b = 111. 1(2) pm, c = 990.5(2) pm, a = 100.99(3)°, p = 99.88(3)°, y = 100.17(3)° ). The main feature of the crystal structure is a distorted bicapped trigonal prism of Bi[(Re0(4))3;2 (Re0(4))2/2 (Re0(4))2/2 (H(2)0)], which are connected each other through [ReOJ-tetrahedra to form a three-dimensional network.
