Sumario: | A novel one-dimensional metal-isonicotinato inorganic-organic hybrid complex ]GD(C6N0(2)H5)3(H(2)0)2](2N)(NH(5)0(2))(NZNCL5)(2NZNCL4)(2NH(2)0) (1) has been successfully synthesized via hydrothermal reaction and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is characteristic of a novel one-dimensional polycationic chain-like structure and unprecedented ZnCl5³~species. Optical absorption spectra of 1 reveal the presence of an optical gap of 3.35 eV. Photoluminescent investigation reveáis that the title complex displays a strong blue-light fluorescent emission band. |
