Leu-Enk encapsulation using anionic emulsión polymerization technique was carried out previous depolymerization of MW 400,000 gmol"¹ commercial chitosan, followed by thiolation of this depolymerized chitosan with Traut's reagent (2-iminothiolane), and final characterization. Later, direct quantification of the encapsulated Leu-Enk into the nanoparticles was carried out evaluating two methodologies for nanoparticles rupture solubilization with: NaOH 1 N and DMSO.
