The resulting composite film 3a was characterized by FTIR spectroscopy, Uv-vis analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetry analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that silver nanoparticles are present in polyimide matrix. This data is in good agreement with the result obtained from TEM and shows the silver nanoparticles homogeneously dispersed in the polyimide matrix.
