The proposed method is based on the reaction of amine group of drug with 2, 4 dinitrofluorobenzene in dimthylsulfoxide (DMSO) to form yellow colored product, which absorbs maximally at 410 nm. Beer's law was obeyed in the concentration range 2.5 - 25 ìg/mL with molar absorptivity 6.71 x10³ L/mol/cm. The limits of detection and quantitation of the proposed method were 0.17 and 0.52 ìg/mL, respectively. The optimum experimental condition for the proposed procedure was investigated.
