Geotechnical, structural and hydraulic designs and technical issues are considered in the project. The paper gives the outline for a future feasibility study that would include subsurface exploration, tsunami evacuation modeling, development of the conceptual design to allow for preliminary structure design, development of tsunami wave dissipation strategies, and assessment of costs.
