Sumario: | The development in wireless communication and information technologies has led to the possibility of creating innovative solutions that can contribute to the improvement in life quality for people with some impairment, physical or cognitive. This article presents the development of an innovative mobile assistive solution based on biosensors, such as electroencephalogram (EEG), heart rate (HR) and skin conductance (SC). This solution could help people that suffer from cognitive disabilities to balance, express and monitor their emotions and/or mental states, improving communication, task performance and sleep patterns. |
