Sumario: | Abstract Dryinus Latreille, the most diverse genus of Dryininae (Hymenoptera: Dryinidae), has a worldwide distribution with 268 extant species, of which 103 are reported from the Neotropics. Only eight species of Dryinidae have been recorded in Uruguay, none of them belong to genus Dryinus. In this study, we describe the first species of Dryinus in Uruguay, Dryinus rogeriae nov. sp. and expanded the geographical distribution of D. bocainanus (Olmi) based on specimens collected in eastern Uruguay. We illustrate the studied species and provide a distributional map. |
