The study contributes to the widespread knowledge of the practices of the engineering and value Analysis in projects, shopping malls, and how it affects the operating costs. In addition to the important participation of the thread to the Brazilian GDP (gross domestic product), owners of shopping malls have exercised extensive contribution to sustainability and support the communities living in the surroundings of these buildings.
