In this research, the failure criterion considered is the proposed by Ingraham et al. (2009), and the model to analyze the fatigue behavior is the well-known statistical Weibull model because this model allow us to us directly the total strain amplitude instead of its plastic and elastic components to analyze the fatigue behavior of the material. The model proposed it is a very simple mathematical expression that will allow us to model the damage accumulation level only as a function of the total strain amplitude. Finally, the proposed model has been validated through a comparison of the experimental damage accumulation curves, generated with the previous experimental data published by Ingraham et al. (2009), and the curve generated by the proposed model.
