Sumario:Woei-Yaw Chee et al. explore the molecular mechanisms of β-catenin involvement in cholesterol metabolism suppressing cellular senescence in naked mole-rat cells. The results of this study suggest that β-catenin in NMRs functions to offset senescence by regulating cholesterol metabolism, which may contribute to increased longevity in naked mole rats.
