Sumario:The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between structural empowerment, trust to the principal, leader-member exchange and psychological empowerment among secondary school teachers, and also to examine the direct and indirect relationships of these variables. In this context, in this study the perception levels of the teachers towards the research variables were examined and also whether the teachers’ opinions for these variables shows a significant meaning in terms of gender, age, professional seniority, tenure, and school types were examined. Besides, the direct and indirect relationships between the perceptions of structural empowerment, trust to the principal, leader-member exchange and psychological empowerment were tried to be examined. In addition, in this study a model was tested that shows psychological empowerment perceptions of teachers, their trust in principals¸structural empowerment and the direct effects of leader-member exchange as well as psychological empowerment perceptions of teachers, trust to the principals and indirect effects of leader-member exchange through structural empowerment. This research was designed in correlational scanning model. Gathered data was analyzed via SPSS and AMOS programs. The predictions of the independent variables (structural empowerment, trust to the principal and leader-member exchange) to the psychological empowerment was analyzed by Path analysis. According to the analysis conducted it was found that the structural empowerment, trust to the principals and leader-member exchange predicts the psychological empowerment positively. Based on the data collected as a result of the analysis, recommendations were offered to the appliers and to the researchers.
