Sumario:In this research study, it is aimed to determine the situation of primary school students’ children’s books in terms of their physical structures, content and illustrations. Fort his purpose, one hundred and forty - three children’s books which published between the years of 2009 and 2014 made up the research sample through a random sampling method. In this study we use contend analysis method which is one of the qualitive research method to collect, analyse and interpret datas. As for the data analysis, frequencies and percentages were used. As a result of this research, it was found that the size of the books are almost the same, their bindings and covers are endurable, the subject of the books are almost same, there aren’t any main and secondary characters’ features variety, whereas some books include different types of messages, some books do not include any messages and are full of grammar mistakes. Also many of the books include pictures and many of the books have relationship between text and pictures.
