Résumé:Digitalization is one of the key factors in increasing competitiveness, which signifi cantly expands the capabilities of enterprises, transforming the business models of companies and signifi cantly changing the process of creating value for the consumer. One of the components of the digital economy that can become a driver for the development of entire industries are digital platforms, which in modern conditions may bring signifi cant benefi ts both for large enterprises, and as well as for small and medium-sized enterprises. Despite the high importance of using digital platforms, the use of digital platforms among small and medium-sized businesses is not widespread in Russia. This article aims to identify the factors that contribute to the adoption of digital platforms among small and medium enterprises.
