Description
Résumé:The paper aims to analyze the Social Technical Work (Trabalho Técnico Social TTS) contribution in housing projects management for precarious settlements. It takes into account the municipality of Ananindeua, Pará state. The TTS is a tool of municipal management of the Social Interest Housing National Policy (PNHIS). The study locus is the neighborhood of Jaderlândia that holds integrated works of sewerage and urbanization of precarious settlements in the area. The research was based on participatory observation method during the TTS implementation and on documentary analysis, particularly on Statutory City, Social Housing Interest National Policy and Plan, Sanear Ananindeua Program and Social Technical Work reports. Under social management theory, the paper debates participation, dialogue and social inclusion as fundamental aspects for PNHIS outcomes. The paper shows that TTS is a significant tool for social management of housing projects for precarious settlements. However, the TTS is limited in its scope and outcomes since it does not always bring social win. It happens because difficulties and limitations are often present in any process of management for social inclusion.
