Sumario:The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of self-efficacy levels of preschool teacher candidates and multiple intelligence types. In accordance with this purpose, the research sample consisted of 210 teacher candidates studying in 4th grade in the Faculty of Education at Giresun and Black Sea Technical University. Personal Information Form developed by the researchers, Multiple Intelligence Domains Inventory For Educators developed by Amstrong (1993) and translated into Turkish by Saban (2002), One-Dimensional Self-Efficacy Scale of Preschool Teachers developed by Tepe were used as data collection tool in this study. The data of this study were analyzed by SPSS package software. As a result of the study, a positive and significant difference was found in all sub-dimensions of visual-spatial intelligence, naturalist intelligence, and self-efficacy beliefs; but a negative direction between kinesthetic intelligence and communicational sub-dimensions of self-efficacy beliefs. When multiple intelligence and self-efficacy beliefs were examined in terms of gender, there was a significant difference in favor of women in verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, visual-spatial and musical-rhythmic intelligence and all the sub-dimensions of self-efficacy beliefs. When the multiple intelligence and self-efficacy beliefs were examined in terms of university diversity, it was found that there was a remarkable difference in logical-mathematical intelligence, musical-rhythmic intelligence and self-efficacy beliefs in favor of Karadeniz Technical University.
