Sumario:This study that designed for the aim of determination teachers’ democratic attitudes, is a descriptive and quantitive. In this study, it is examined academicians’ democratic values, gender, academic degree and vocational seniority in the text of teacher training in education faculties. Data has been gathered from Akdeniz, Doğu Anadolu, Güneydoğu Anadolu, İç Anadolu, Karadeniz and Marmara regions on the basis of voluntary. 54 female and 109 male totally 163 academicians participated in the study. To collecting data is exerted The Scale of Determining Democratic Values in the Teacher Training by developed researchers. Questionarre is carried out a group similar to sample and Cronbach’s Alpha is calculated .91. Data analysed via SPSS and use One-Way Anova, Scheffe, Tamhane, Welch and t test, and signifigance level is 0.05. As a consequent it is stated that academicians’ view related to self-evaluation, classroom practices and measurement-assessment have changed depending on geographical region. Then it is indicated that academicians from İç Anadolu and Karadeniz in self evaluation dimension, from İç Anadolu, Karadeniz and Marmara in classroom practice dimension, from İç Anadolu in measurement-assessment dimension have more positive opinion than from other geographical regions.
