Sumario:<p><em>Organizational citizenship</em><em>x</em><em>behavior has been recognized as an important variable for every organization both in academicians and practitioners. </em><em>The</em><em>x</em><em>purpose of this study is to investigate the</em><em>x</em><em>role of organizatinal citizenship behavior as mediator on</em><em>x</em><em>the relationship</em><em>x</em><em>between perceived</em><em>x</em><em>organizational support, job characteritics and knowledge sharing. The number of respondents that could be used in this study was 37 employees of the Civil</em><em>x</em><em>Servants in</em><em>x</em><em>the Public Works and</em><em>x</em><em>Public Housing Agency</em><em>x</em><em>of the West Sumatra Region of Padang City. The results</em><em>x</em><em>of analysis showed</em><em>x</em><em>that the perceived organizational</em><em>x</em><em>support and job</em><em>x</em><em>characteristics did not affect significantly knowledge sharing. Perceived organizational</em><em>x</em><em>support was</em><em>x</em><em>found to have positive effect on</em><em>x</em><em>organizational citizenship behavior and job</em><em>x</em><em>characteristics did not influence</em><em>x</em><em>organizational citizenship behavior. Furthermore,</em><em>x</em><em>organizational citizenship behavior</em><em>x</em><em>was found to have</em><em>x</em><em>positive effect on knowledge</em><em>x</em><em>sharing. In addition, organizational</em><em>x</em><em>citizenship behavior was</em><em>x</em><em>proven to mediate the</em><em>x</em><em>relationship between perceived organizational</em><em>x</em><em>support and knowledge sharing.</em><em>x</em><em>However, it did not</em><em>x</em><em>mediate the relationship between job</em><em>x</em><em>characteristics and knowledge sharing.</em></p>
