| Résumé: | The goal of this paper is to evaluate the economic-financial viability of structuring of packing houses for small
producing of vegetable/fruit in the area of Toledo/PR. As result, the investment produced indicators that dont
recommend the business for the initial situations of revenue and costs. It was identified the viability with
increments of 30% and 50% in the revenue, in relation to the initial situation, with concomitant 15% and 30%
of addition in the operational costs, respectively. Nevertheless, considering the potential of generation of income
and employment, as well as the improvement of the quality and competitiveness of the vegetable/fruit of the
area, is necessary to develop the market so that people recognize the attributes related to product, as well as to
develop public politics seeking the improvement of the vegetable/fruit logistics. |
