Summary: | This article presents a geographical analysis of the results of the first ballot of the presidential election in France. In spite of a visible stability of the electoral maps, we shall show in the fault an analysis on the scale of cantons, restructuring of the votes. Indeed, for the first time since about 20 years, geography of the votes gets organized around five main political strengths. At the same time, we observe the collapse of the small currents which had leaked out on the political scene in 2002 and 2007. |
