| Résumé: | The competition between economic actors may offer favorable conditions to differentiation, especially to innovation, which can enable economic rents above market average. However, the issue of how to introduce innovation practices remain. With the purpose to characterize innovation practices adopted by industrial organizations from Vale do Rio dos Sinos, this qualitative and quantitative research was conducted. Our results enhance the priority on strategies based on innovation and knowledge management, as well as the search for non-refundable grants from the government, in order to reduce innovation’s risks and costs. |
