Sumario:It is a matter of priority to take differentiated instruction for the gifted students in visual arts which shows different features and stages of development. While the field of cognitive skills develops depending on chronologic age, situation is different in the field of art. Visual skill beginning in the early age develops with quick steps and visual skill in students shows a tendency to decrease from the first years of school. Thus, artistry in students loses its superiority and has a normal development or superior ability lost in the first years of school might return in the adolescence period. Absence of adequate study about skill developments of the field of visual arts students and qualities of visual arts education to be given make this study important. Following results have been come in this study that is based on literature review: rapid development that began in early ages in the field of visual skill that is different from cognitive skill might be in different orbit. It was concluded that the education of the gifted in visual arts requires development of students’ responsibilities and feelings of adequacy, making critical questioning, solving problem and studying independently. It is also concluded that it is necessary to provide students to follow the developments and apply to their arts.
